- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 oz agave syrup (or simple syrup)
- 1 cup ice
- Salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into chunks.
- Rim your glass with lime juice and dip it in salt or sugar (optional).
- In a blender, combine the strawberries, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and agave syrup.
- Add ice and blend until smooth or to your desired consistency.
- Pour the margarita into the prepared glasses and garnish with a strawberry or lime wedge.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, blend the ingredients longer. If you prefer a chunkier margarita, pulse the blender just a few times. You can adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less agave syrup.
