Ingredients

- 1 lb flank or skirt steak (or chicken/pork)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 8–10 corn tortillas
- 1 small white onion, diced
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 limes, cut into wedges
- Salsa roja or verde (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate meat with olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper for 1–12 hours.
- Chop onion, cilantro, and lime wedges.
- Heat grill or skillet until hot. Cook meat 3–5 minutes per side. Let rest, then slice thin.
- Warm tortillas for 30 seconds per side.
- Assemble tacos: tortilla, meat, onions, cilantro, lime, salsa if desired.
