Description

Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta is the ultimate comfort food—juicy seared chicken, tender pasta, and a garlicky parmesan cream sauce that will have everyone asking for seconds. Perfect for weeknights or a cozy dinner with guests, it’s quick, flavorful, and utterly satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta of choice (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: splash of white wine, lemon juice

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through; remove from pan.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Add optional white wine and simmer for 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream, scraping browned bits from the pan. Simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken.
  • Gradually add parmesan cheese, stirring constantly. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Slice chicken and return to the skillet, warming for 1–2 minutes.
  • Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, coating evenly. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
  • Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • Let the chicken rest before slicing for juicier meat.
  • Avoid burning garlic—it can turn bitter quickly.
  • Save pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
  • Add vegetables at the end for a colorful, nutritious twist.
