  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or chunks


Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  • Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
