- 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

- ½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and halve peaches, removing pits.
- Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl.
- Place peaches cut side up in a baking dish. Dot each with butter and sprinkle sugar mixture on top.
- Optionally add vanilla extract.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until peaches are tender and sugar is caramelized.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally drizzle with honey or serve with ice cream.
